Prior to your first visit, we ask that you complete your new patient paperwork in full. This information is vital to your treatment, so please complete fully.
Upon your arrival to our office, you will be greeted and we will collect the New Patient forms that you have filled out prior to the appointment. We will also collect your insurance card, if you have coverage and elect to use it.
We are in network with all major health insurance companies, including United Health Care.
You will be taken to the exam room where Dr. Vann will meet you, and begin going over your medical history, and current symptoms and complaints. She will then perform a thorough examination on you, and order spinal x-rays.
The major emphasis of our initial exam is to evaluate your spine and central nervous system, determine how it is functioning, and find where the stress and challenges are that will need to be addressed.
Dr. Vann will then go over all the information gathered on this first visit and create a specific treatment plan to address and help eliminate or correct your current health complaints. This first visit is very comprehensive, and lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
On your 2nd visit, you will again be greeted and checked in for your appointment. You will then be taken to the doctor’s office where, Dr. Vann will go over all the results of your examination and x-rays. We refer to this as your Report of Findings. At this time you have the freedom to ask any and all questions you may have, and we encourage you to bring a family member with you.
Dr. Vann will outline her recommended treatment plan for you and/or your children and answer any and all questions you may have. If any additional consultation, examinations, referrals, or any other form of additional testing is recommended, they will be discussed at this time as well. The treatment plan will include your financial responsibility for each visit, as well as the total recommended duration of the plan. Your health insurance benefits will be verified prior to this to provide accurate information on co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
At this time if you decided to proceed with care for you or your children, then you will be taken to the adjusting room, and given your first adjustment. If therapies or other modalities were recommended in your treatment plan, they will be received after your adjustment. This visit again will last about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Dr. Vann is great if you need a chiropractic adjustment or help with your chiropractic needs.
